BRIDAL AND EVENING WEAR Instructor: Eugene Tachinni

It is amazing what we can do with some pieces of fabric when they are put together properly. The result can be a beautiful art work. Bridal and Evening-the very words transport us into the atmosphere of luxury and elegance. The hours involved in the creation of a haute couture garment are impressive. We must take enough time to make the design, choose the right fabric, the right colors, and decorations. Then we work with those elements and figure out how to put them together.

For this project, I chose to make an evening dress because I want to develop a sharper skill in this area. It was very interesting to work with other classmates during this project. I really enjoyed making a corset and boning, that was some thing new for me. I love my project, I think it is beautiful, and feel like I really fulfilled my goal for this class. I feel confident about the skills I learned from this class, I know these skills will be very useful in my future career.
